digiID® PAY is a highly anticipated addition to the digiID® app, meeting the top requested feature from users: the ability to send money to other digiID® users. digiID® is a trusted platform for storing and sharing important documents, making it invaluable for personal transactions such as purchasing a used car or accepting credit cards at events like bake sales.

The introduction of digiID® PAY means that users can now securely process transactions and keep track of their identity-verified payments all within one convenient app. With digiID® PAY, users can securely store and share important identification documents, as well as send money to other verified individuals.

As always, the developers are committed to improving the app based on user feedback. Therefore, they encourage users to share their thoughts and help make digiID® PAY an even more useful and efficient application.

In this new version of digiID PAY, users in the United States have the ability to send and receive money using a United States phone number. If the recipient has the digiID® PAY app, they will receive the money directly into their digiID PAY account, where they can then send it to other United States phone numbers or their own U.S.-based bank accounts. If the recipient does not have the app, they will receive a text notification instructing them to download and register in order to access their funds.

In addition to the new pay features, digiID® PAY retains all of the original digiID® features. This includes serving as a secure digital identification holder, allowing users to store and manage their official ID cards. With digiID®, users can leave their physical wallets at home and rely solely on their phone for identification purposes. The app also offers convenient privacy control features, allowing users to blur sensitive information and ensure their security.

For enhanced security, users are advised to enable Guided Access. This feature can be activated by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access. By always activating the Guided Access lock screen, users can provide additional security when handing their iPhone to someone inspecting their digiID.

The additional features of digiID® include a virtual wallet for driver’s licenses and other identification cards, the ability to blur sensitive information, and verification through social network profiles for added authentication. The app also offers cross-referencing verification, allowing users to link their digitized identification cards to establish a higher level of trust and acceptance globally.

digiID® PAY is a trusted and reliable financial utility mobile application that enhances the convenience and security of personal transactions. With digiID® PAY, users can feel confident in securely managing their identity and making transactions within one app.
